Refund Policy
In short: products once purchased are generally non-refundable. Where we do approve a refund, it is returned to your original payment method through Stripe and usually appears within 3–5 business days. This Policy is part of our Terms of Service (Section 7).
1. General policy
1.1 AI Mock Case sells access to a digital service — credits, bundles, and the unlimited-access pass, each of which unlocks live AI mock case interviews and the resulting feedback. Once purchased, these products are generally non-refundable, except where a refund is required by the consumer-protection law that applies to you, or where we choose to grant one at our discretion as described below.
1.2 Prices shown at checkout are the amounts you authorise us (through Stripe) to charge. Beta and launch discounts are time-limited.
2. When we may issue a refund
2.1 We will consider a refund or re-credit, at our reasonable discretion, where:
- a session could not be delivered because of a fault on our side (for example, the AI interviewer failed to start or the session was cut short by a problem on our end); or
- you were charged in error, or charged more than once for the same purchase; or
- the law that applies to you gives you a non-waivable right to a refund or to cancel.
2.2 Refunds and re-credits are assessed case by case. Contact us first (see Section 5) and we will try to put it right.
3. What is not refundable
- Used credits. Once a credit has been consumed — a session has begun — it is non-refundable.
- Expired credits. Credits expire 30 days after your most recent purchase and have no value after expiry.
- The unlimited pass. Once an unlimited-access pass has been activated or used, it is non-refundable.
- Change of mind. Outside the cases in Section 2, a change of mind after purchase does not entitle you to a refund.
By starting a mock interview you are requesting immediate performance of a digital service, which can end any statutory right to cancel for the portion you have used.
4. How approved refunds are processed
4.1 Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not refund to a different card, account, or method.
4.2 Once we approve and submit a refund, it typically appears on your statement within 3–5 business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank or card issuer and is outside our control.
4.3 Refunds are made in the original currency of the purchase. We are not responsible for any difference caused by exchange-rate movements or fees charged by your bank.
5. How to request a refund
5.1 Email [email protected] from the address on your account, with your order details and a short note on what went wrong. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank — a chargeback can suspend your account and the affected credits while it is resolved, and we can usually sort things out faster directly.
